This house was developed for one of Ireland's leading stone sculptures to act as a home and a working studio.
Led by the clients wise to have a modest home in the rural area of Co. Sligo in which they had grown up the a work space which would enable them to create both large and small scale works of art.
Consisting of 2 barn like forms linked by a third smaller volume with a similar sectional profile.
Living and working spaces were arrange to allow for a fluid working style where all aspects of life cross filter into each other.
The models picture were produced by rapidly molding different variations of roof forms in varying degrees of refinement and were displayed at the Describing Architecture exhibition during Open House Dublin.
